4) Favourite Elvis song Lyrics for
Danny Boy

This new feature of our ezine is for karaoke superstars & the fans that just like to sing-along with the King.

LYRICS:

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen and down the mountain side
The summer`s gone and all the roses dying

`Tis you, `tis you must go and I must bye
But come ye back when summer`s in the meadow
Or when the valley`s hushed and white with snow
And I`ll be here in sunshine or in shadow

Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy I love you so
But if he come and all the roses dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be

He`ll come here and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an ava there for me
And I shall feel, oh soft you tread above me

And then my grave will richer, sweeter be
For you will bend and tell me that you love me
And I shall rest in peace until you come to me

5) Elvis Presley Forever:

Elvis Lives On In His Albums

Through out his career, Elvis Presley recorded three self-titled albums.

Presley made three appearances on the Dorsey Brothers show for publicity. RCA also wanted a copy of the album in the stores in order to capitalize on his exposure. The success of his first-ever hit single Heartbreak Hotel swiftly climbed the charts.

The tracks on the album are mostly country but there are selections that are rhythm and blues.

2. Elvis This is the second album by Elvis Presley from RCA records which was released in October 1956. This time, it was recorded at Radito Recorders in Hollywood. It spent four weeks on top of the Billboard Top Pop Album Chart in the mentioned year.

7) Elvis Presley Trivia:

• Has sold over one billion records worldwide—the first to do so—and is one of the best selling recording artists in history.

• Has won three Grammy awards, all for his Gospel recordings. These were for the 1967 "How Great Thou Art" LP, for the 1972 LP, "He Touched Me" and, in 1974, for the song "How Great Thou Art" (live).

In September of 1974, during one of his two sellout shows at the University of Notre Dame, he stopped singing, as well as motioned for the band to quit playing, in order to tell those holding a huge banner which read ¨You are the King¨, that he was not going to resume singing until it was taken out from view, adding that "there was only one King, and that was the Lord, Jesus Christ".
